There’s no better time than the present to get that toned, tight tummy you’ve always wanted. You have done all the hard work of losing weight, now is the time to start tensing your muscles.

Cardiovascular exercises are very important to burn the fat that rests on the muscles of the abdomen. However, you also need to work your abdominal muscles with other specific exercises like rotating crunches. With just a little more effort, you’ll be on your way to a slim medium in no time.

Begin lying on your back. Make sure there is no gap between the floor or the training mat and your spine. Contract your abdominal muscles and lift your head and shoulders off the floor about six inches. Don’t use momentum to get up off the floor and you will really feel your stomach muscles contract.

Next, twist slightly to the side as you extend your hand to the outside of your right thigh. Maintain this range, keeping your shoulders off the floor, do two sets of eight to twelve pulse reps. If you feel pain in your neck, be sure to use the proper position. Once you have rested for fifteen to twenty seconds, switch to your left side and repeat the same movements.

With a little practice every day, you will begin to notice that your abs become more and more taut as you develop the healthy and strong core that you so desire.
