The 2009 Nissan Pathfinder comes in three different variants: LE, S and SE variants. The features that give strength to the new Nissan Pathfinder are the new power of the V8 engine, off-road, spacious interior space and the vehicle’s towing capacity. All models are offered with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.

The old V6 engine is replaced with the new V8 for the latest car and the old one still exists as well. Inside, the car features a redesigned instrument panel, illuminated switch, redesigned center console area, and second-row reclining seats. New options included in the vehicle are smart key entry system, heated steering wheel, navigation system with hard drive system.

The new car offers a combination of off-road capability with good highway handling, hauling and towing with the strong boxed frame and four-wheel drive combined with independent suspension. The new Nissan Pathfinder comes smarter and faster with its 7,000-pound towing capacity.

LE and SE trims come with a 4.0-liter V6 engine option that produces 266 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque. All V8 models come with a four-wheel drive system that can use up to 50 percent of the engine’s torque to the front wheels as needed. The new Pathfinder has ample interior space that can accommodate up to seven passengers. The car’s third row can be folded down for more cargo space, when needed.
