Eyeliner is a must for people with small eyes. With eyeliner, even the smallest eyes can appear large. However, applying the eyeliner requires some technique. The drawn line should not be too dark and rough.

There are several types of eyeliners in stores today. The 3 types are: liquid eyeliner, pencil eyeliner, and gel eyeliner.

All three types of eyeliner work the same way, only the liquid and gel types are less complicated in the sense that you don’t need to sharpen your eyeliner. Some people will prefer to have the pencil type for a better grip as it is easier for them to draw their lines as if they were drawing on paper.

First, choose the type of eyeliner you want to work on. I normally recommend liquid eyeliner as the fine tip makes it easy for beginners to draw the line of the eyes.

Keep the skin of the upper eyelid taut. Apply liquid eyeliner starting from the inner corner of the eye outward. Try to apply a light stroke.

If you are a beginner to using eyeliner, you may have a hard time drawing a nice line. In that case, you may want to divide your line into two sections. Draw from the inner corner of the eye to the center and then finish from the middle to the end.

Remember to keep your line as close to the lash line as possible to create a natural look!

And if you miss your first try, don’t be discouraged. As the saying goes, practice makes perfect, after a few tests you will be as good as a pro.
