A verdant desert oasis of royalty’s abode, Rajasthan is obviously the only hill station in Northwest India to be named Mount Abu. This place is situated at the height of 1,219 m above sea level. Previously, Mount Abu was a pious abode of sages and saints, and according to a legend, 330 million Hindu gods and goddesses used to visit this holy mountain. The truth of this lake is that it is not natural and it is the only artificial lake in India. It is surrounded by trees, gardens and most of the Mount Abu hotels. For visitors, boating is also a very good option to enjoy the beauty of this lake.

wildlife sanctuary: Spread over an area of ​​290 square kilometers, a Wildlife Sanctuary which was established in 1960 and named after Mount Abu. As a popular destination for eco-tourism in Rajasthan, it is located in the Aravali, the oldest mountain ranges in India.

In this sanctuary there are 449 genera and 820 species of plants along with 120 categories of plants. Full of floral beauty there are lots of roses and bamboos. Additionally, 250 species of birds can be spotted, including the popular gray jungle fowl. Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary is also home to animals such as wild boar, leopard, chinkara, sloth bear, sambar and langur among others. Many of the sanctuary’s animals are extremely rare and threatened.

Achalgarh Fort: One of the beautiful and famous medieval monuments. This fort was built in the 14th century by Rana kumbha, an esteemed Mewar designer. On its campus there are several Jain temples, including the Achaleshwar mahadev temple and the Kantinath temple.

This fort located 8 km away from the city center, Mount Abu or Mt Abu. The wonderful location of the fort offers a picturesque view of the entire city.
